The Elite Guard is the first episode of the second season of Transformers Animated. The episode starts with the Autobots getting caught up in a battle between the Decepticons and the Elite Guard. The Elite Guard is a team of highly skilled Autobots who have been sent to Earth to capture the Decepticons who have escaped from a prison planet. The Elite Guard is made up of Ultra Magnus, Sentinel Prime, and Jazz.

The episode begins with the arrival of the Elite Guard on Earth. Sentinel Prime and Ultra Magnus land in the Autobot's base, while Jazz lands in the middle of a busy city, much to the surprise of the humans.

Sentinel Prime and Ultra Magnus introduce themselves to Optimus Prime and his team. Sentinel Prime is arrogant and dismissive of the Autobots, while Ultra Magnus is more willing to work with them. They explain that they are on Earth to capture the escaped Decepticons and return them to their prison planet. Optimus Prime offers to help, but Sentinel Prime turns him down, insisting that the Autobots are not up to the task.

Meanwhile, Jazz is exploring the city when he is discovered by two human teenagers, Sari and Bumblebee. They are excited to see a Transformer in person and offer to help him find the Decepticons. Jazz is reluctant to let the humans get involved, but eventually agrees.

Back at the Autobot base, Sentinel Prime and Ultra Magnus begin to search for the Decepticons. They quickly find Blitzwing, who is causing chaos in the city. Sentinel Prime is eager to capture him, but Ultra Magnus is more cautious, wanting to wait for backup. Blitzwing proves to be too powerful for the two Autobots to handle on their own, and they are forced to retreat.

Meanwhile, Jazz, Sari, and Bumblebee find themselves being chased by another Decepticon, Lugnut. They manage to outrun him for a while, but eventually, they are cornered. Jazz and Lugnut engage in a battle, but Lugnut proves to be too much for Jazz.

Back at the Autobot base, Optimus Prime and the other Autobots become frustrated with the Elite Guard's lack of progress. They decide to go out and search for the Decepticons themselves. Sentinel Prime is unhappy with this and orders Ultra Magnus to stay at the base while he goes after the Autobots.

The Autobots come across Jazz, who has been badly damaged by Lugnut. They are able to defeat Lugnut, but Jazz is too badly damaged to continue. The Elite Guard arrives and takes Jazz back to the Autobot base for repairs.

Back at the base, Ultra Magnus confronts Sentinel Prime about his arrogance. He tells Sentinel Prime that the Autobots are just as capable as the Elite Guard and that they should work together. Sentinel Prime reluctantly agrees.

The Elite Guard, along with the Autobots, track down the remaining Decepticons. They engage in a fierce battle, but with the help of the Autobots, the Elite Guard is able to capture all of the Decepticons and return them to their prison planet.

The episode ends with the Elite Guard thanking the Autobots for their help. Sentinel Prime admits that he was wrong about the Autobots and that they are a valuable asset to the Elite Guard.

Overall, The Elite Guard is an exciting episode that introduces new characters and sets up the season's overarching plot. The conflict between the Autobots and Elite Guard adds tension to the episode, and the action scenes are thrilling to watch. The episode is a great start to the second season and leaves the viewer eager to see what happens next.
