Ep 9. Rapa Phooey!

In Total Drama World Tour season 2 episode 9, titled Rapa Phooey!, the contestants embark on a journey to a new destination - Easter Island. They are greeted by an intimidating stone statue which is soon revealed to be their next challenge. Chris informs them that they will have to race to the top of the statue in order to retrieve a special key that will unlock their next location.

The contestants are divided into two teams - Team Amazon and Team Chris Is Really Really Really Hot. The Amazon team consists of Lindsay, Heather, and Courtney while Chris's team comprises Alejandro, Duncan, and Owen. Both teams are determined to win the challenge and secure their spot in the competition.

As the race begins, the contestants encounter various obstacles on the way to the top of the statue. While some struggle to keep up, others prove to be natural climbers. Lindsay, in particular, surprises her team members with her agility and speed. However, as the challenge progresses, tensions rise between both teams. Alejandro and Heather engage in a heated argument, fueling their ongoing rivalry.

The race reaches its peak when Owen attempts to sabotage the Amazon team by tripping Courtney and stealing her key. Despite this setback, Heather and Lindsay reach the top of the statue first and unlock the next location, which is revealed to be Machu Picchu.

The contestants are then instructed to perform an original rap song in front of a local rapper, who will judge their performance. They are given only a short amount of time to write and rehearse their verses. Both teams struggle to come up with a cohesive rap, with the exception of Alejandro, who proves to be an expert at writing lyrics.

During the performance, the contestants incorporate props and dance moves to enhance their performance. However, some are more successful than others. The rapper judges the performances and declares the Amazon team as the winners. Chris's team is sent to elimination and has to bid farewell to Duncan, who is voted off the show.

The episode ends with a twist, as Chris announces that the eliminated contestants will have an opportunity to rejoin the competition. The remaining contestants are left uncertain and anxious as they await the return of their former rivals.
