In Total Drama World Tour season 1 episode 16, titled "Picnic at Hanging Dork", the contestants travel to Australia. The episode begins with Chris announcing that the challenge for the day will be to find the rarest and most dangerous Australian animal and take a picture with it. The contestants are split up into teams and given a map to help them navigate through the dangerous terrain.
The first team, consisting of Alejandro, Heather, and Cody, are the first to encounter an Australian animal, a Tasmanian devil. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when Alejandro tries to take a selfie with the Tasmanian devil and gets bitten. The team manages to escape and continue on their hunt, but Alejandro's injury starts to slow them down.
The second team, comprised of Gwen, Duncan, and Courtney, run into a group of kangaroos. Courtney tries to take a picture with a baby kangaroo, but the mother kangaroo becomes defensive and chases the team away.
The final team, made up of Sierra, Tyler, and Lindsay, are the last to find an Australian animal. They come across a koala, but Tyler ends up accidentally knocking it out of a tree with a frisbee. The team decides to take care of the koala and nurse it back to health instead of taking a picture with it.
The teams eventually reconvene at a picnic area where Chris is waiting with the judges. The challenge is to make an Australian-style dish, using the animal they found as the main ingredient. Alejandro's team decides to make Tasmanian devil tacos, while Gwen's team makes kangaroo burgers. Sierra's team decides to not participate in the challenge and instead, they present their live koala to the judges, telling them the story of how they found it and nursed it back to health.
The judges are impressed by all three dishes and have a difficult time deciding on a winner. However, in the end, Gwen's team wins the challenge.
As the episode draws to a close, Chris announces that the contestants will be performing a song, "Shear the Sheep", in front of a live audience. The contestants are given sheep costumes to wear for the performance, but things quickly go awry when the sheep costumes turn out to be actual sheep that the contestants are expected to shear while performing.
Overall, "Picnic at Hanging Dork" is a hilarious and action-packed episode that showcases the unique and dangerous wildlife of Australia. The challenges are fun and engaging, and the performances are sure to leave viewers laughing and wanting more.
