In Total Drama World Tour season 1 episode 14 titled "Greece's Pieces," the remaining contestants travel to Greece for their next challenge. The episode begins with the contestants arriving in Athens and marveling at the ancient ruins, eager to explore the birthplace of Western civilization.
Chris informs the contestants that their challenge is inspired by the ancient Greek athletic games. They will be divided into two teams and face off in a series of physical and mental challenges to earn points. The team with the most points at the end of the day will win the challenge and immunity from elimination.
The contestants are excited to compete, but tensions start to rise when Chris reveals that the teams will be selected randomly. Gwen, who has been feeling isolated from the group since her breakup with Trent, is placed on the same team as Courtney and Heather, her two biggest enemies.
The first challenge requires the teams to compete in a chariot race through the ruined streets of Athens. The contestants are thrilled to ride in ancient-style chariots, but the challenge quickly becomes chaotic when the horses become spooked and start running in all directions. Harold, who is driving for his team, manages to gain the lead, but Owen accidentally crashes into his chariot, causing both teams to lose.
The next challenge takes place at the Acropolis, where the contestants must answer trivia questions about Greek mythology. Alejandro proves to be a formidable opponent, answering most of the questions correctly and leading his team to victory.
The final challenge takes place at a Greek amphitheater, where the contestants must perform a play about the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Each team is given a script and costumes, and they must act out the tragic story in front of a live audience.
Gwen struggles with her lines and is nervous about performing in front of a crowd. Meanwhile, Alejandro manipulates his team to give him the lead role, knowing that his acting skills will impress the judges. The play goes off without a hitch, and in the end, Alejandro's team wins the challenge.
Back at the hotel, tensions between Gwen and her teammates escalate when they accuse her of sabotaging their performance. Gwen feels betrayed by the girls but decides to keep her head up and stay in the competition.
In the end, it is revealed that Alejandro has been secretly scheming to eliminate the other contestants and win the million-dollar prize. He confides in the camera that he will stop at nothing to achieve his goal, setting up future conflicts and drama for the rest of the season.
