A young boy lying alone in a snowy wasteland. His body is lifeless, his skin blue, and his eyes open, gazing into the void. A lone wolf is also lying nearby, its body also motionless and cold. As the weather worsens, the snow continues to pile up, burying the two creatures in a white blanket.

Suddenly, a mysterious orb like entity descends from the sky and approaches the boy. The entity transforms into an exact replica of the boy, from its clothing to its posture, and then merges with the boy's body. The boy's eyes light up, his wounds heal, and he gets up, unaware of what happened.

The story of To Your Eternity begins with this first episode, named The Last One.
