Ep 3. Origins

In Titans season 1 episode 3, titled "Origins", we get a closer look at the characters' backstories and how they came to be the Titans. The episode starts with Dick Grayson (Robin) reminiscing about his past as a member of the circus with his parents. We witness the tragic event that led to their untimely death and how it shaped his life.

Next, we meet Kory Anders (Starfire), who wakes up in Vienna with no memory of how she got there or who she is. She soon realizes she has special powers, including the ability to create fire. Her search for answers leads her to a lab where she discovers some shocking news about her past.

Meanwhile, Rachel Roth (Raven) is still struggling to control her powers and keep them hidden from the world. She seeks refuge in a church where she meets a priest who tries to help her. However, things take a turn for the worse when a group of dangerous men arrive at the church looking for her.

Finally, we are introduced to Gar Logan (Beast Boy), a young boy who has the ability to transform into any animal he wants. He spends his days playing video games and watching movies until he meets Rachel, who needs his help.

The episode is a great exploration of each character's backstory and motivations. It also sets up the upcoming team-up of the Titans as they come together to fight a common enemy. The performances are excellent, and the show manages to balance the action with the character development. Overall, "Origins" is a fantastic episode that sets up a lot of exciting things to come in the series.
