In episode 18 of Tiny Toon Adventures season 1 titled "Hare Today, Gone Tomorrow," the viewers are taken on a comedic journey with their favourite characters from Acme Acres.
The episode begins with the class of Acme Looniversity being given various tasks by Bugs Bunny, the headmaster. Buster Bunny, the protagonist of the show, is given a task to take care of his baby-sitting hotline. Buster's sidekick, Babs Bunny, is given the responsibility of taking care of the school play, which the entire school is eagerly anticipating.
However, things take a hilarious turn when Buster becomes overpowered by the numerous calls he receives on his hotline while Babs begins to crave the lead role in the school play and takes extreme measures to get it. Buster's dilemma leads him to become careless with his task, and subsequently, Plucky Duck and Hamton J. Pig who are both in his care for the day, go missing.
Meanwhile, Babs' antics get out of hand when Elmyra Duff, the show's notable antagonist with the habit of mistreating animals, tries to force her way into the school play. This leads to a hilarious climax as Babs tries to ensure Elmyra does not get her way and ends up ruining the school play altogether.
As the school day ends, both Buster and Babs come to a realization of the severity of their actions. Buster feels guilty and has been demoted to the worst job one can think of – cleaning the bathroom, whereas Babs realizes the importance of teamwork and learns that being greedy has its consequences.
The episode ends on a high as all the characters, including the ever-present Acme Looniversity janitor, come together to clean up the mess they created. The viewers are left with an important lesson on the significance of responsibility and working together.
