Jack and Coke: In the fourth episode of the second season of Tin Star, we find ourselves back in the quaint town of Little Big Bear, where Jim Worth aka Jack Devlin, the former sheriff, teeters on the edge of sanity following the tragic murder of his wife, Angela, and the exposure of his true identity as a killer and mob enforcer. As he struggles to come to terms with his guilt and grief, he is plagued by haunting visions of the past, including his violent encounters with a notorious gangster named Rodeo, his strained relationship with his daughter, Anna, and his ongoing battle with his addiction to alcohol.
Meanwhile, the town is in chaos as a new threat emerges in the form of a group of vigilantes who are targeting immigrants and causing mayhem. Anna, who has taken on the role of sheriff in her father's absence, is determined to put a stop to their reign of terror, but she finds herself outnumbered and outmatched. She turns to the only person she can trust, the enigmatic and dangerous figure of Whitey, who has his own score to settle with Rodeo.
As Anna and Whitey team up to find the vigilantes and bring them to justice, they are forced to confront their own demons and their complex feelings for each other. With the help of an unlikely ally, they embark on a dangerous mission that takes them to the heart of Rodeo's territory, where they are faced with betrayal, violence, and the harsh reality of the world they inhabit.
At the same time, Jim is struggling to hold on to his sanity as he spirals further into his addiction, barely able to function and haunted by visions of his past and his present. He is forced to confront his demons head-on when Rodeo comes looking for him, demanding that he pay back the debt he owes. Jim must make a choice between his own safety and the safety of his family, as he is drawn back into the world of violence and crime that he thought he had left behind.
As the episode reaches its explosive conclusion, we are left with more questions than answers. Will Jim be able to confront his addiction and demons and find a way to protect his family? Will Anna and Whitey be able to stop the vigilantes and take down Rodeo once and for all? And what secrets will be uncovered along the way?
