Timon & Pumbaa Season 3 Episode 7: Escape From Newark / Truth Be Told

In the first segment of this episode titled "Escape From Newark," Timon, Pumbaa, and Fred the Meerkat are on a trip to New York City when they get separated from each other. Timon and Pumbaa end up in Newark, New Jersey, and must find a way to get back to the city. However, they soon run into trouble as a group of stray cats led by a feline named Manges attacks them. Timon and Pumbaa try to escape, but Manges and her gang continue to chase them. Eventually, Timon comes up with a plan to use Manges' love of catnip against her and they are able to get away and reunite with Fred.

In the second segment titled "Truth Be Told," Timon and Pumbaa accidentally destroy the local elephant herd's water supply and must work to fix it before the elephants find out. They try various tactics to keep the elephants distracted, including staging a talent competition and creating a fake watering hole. However, their efforts are in vain as the elephants catch on and confront them. Timon and Pumbaa come clean and apologize, which earns them the respect of the herd. They are able to fix the water supply and everything ends on a positive note.
