Ep 4. Fear Is Often Greater Than the Danger.

In "Tiger & Bunny" season 1 episode 4, titled "Fear Is Often Greater Than the Danger," we see our main characters, Wild Tiger and Barnaby Brooks Jr., on patrol as a new threat emerges in the city. An escaped convict with the ability to manipulate fear is on the loose, scaring citizens and causing chaos.

As they investigate the situation, they encounter a girl named Kaede who claims to have been rescued by a hero when she was younger. She now idolizes those with Hero powers, and is determined to become one herself. After a brief conversation, Tiger and Barnaby realize that she is actually Kotetsu's daughter.

Meanwhile, the escaped convict continues to spread fear throughout the city, causing destruction and endangering lives. The heroes are called into action, but their powers seem to have no effect on the criminal. As the situation intensifies, Wild Tiger must face his own fears and overcome them in order to stop the villain.

Throughout the episode, we see flashbacks of Kotetsu and his daughter spending time together when she was younger. We learn that Kaede's mother passed away, leaving Kotetsu to raise her on his own. He stopped being a hero so that he could focus on being a father, but Kaede's admiration for heroes reignited his passion for the job.

As Wild Tiger faces the fear manipulator, he realizes that the best way to defeat him is to not play into his traps. He remembers the advice that Kotetsu gave him when he was young and afraid: "Don't run away, and don't give up." With these words in mind, he overcomes his fear and is able to stop the villain.

In the aftermath, Kotetsu reunites with his daughter and promises to continue being a hero so that she can be proud of him. The episode ends with Kaede expressing her desire to become a hero as well, inspired by her father's bravery.

"Fear Is Often Greater Than the Danger" is a thrilling episode that not only showcases the amazing powers of the heroes, but also explores the emotional bonds between family members. It reminds us that even in times of fear and uncertainty, we can overcome our doubts and be brave in the face of danger.
