Carmen resulta herida en un ataque rebelde. Es operada por el coronel que decide hacerla regresar a Madrid con sus damas. El comando decide no enviar a nadie para liberar a los prisioneros.

Tras el intento de fuga, Pedro va a prision. Julia y Larbi son interrogados por el comandante, pero la duquesa logra sacarlos del lio. Mientras tanto, Mendoza llega al hospital.
