International Rescue receives a desperate call for help from Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward's estate. Her butler, Parker, informs them that the Hood has planted a bomb on board her private plane, FAB 1, and that it will detonate if the plane drops below 5000 feet. Lady Penelope is en route to the World Intelligence Network conference, and the bomb is set to go off in just over two hours.
Scott and Virgil Tracy set out to rescue Lady Penelope and defuse the bomb, but the Hood has other plans. He has arranged for his henchman, Mullion, to track them and sabotage their efforts. The Thunderbird pilots soon find themselves in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse, with Mullion doing everything in his power to prevent them from saving the day.
Meanwhile, Lady Penelope must keep the plane steady and above 5000 feet while also trying to disarm the bomb. With the clock ticking down, time is running out and the stakes are higher than ever. The Thunderbirds must work together to outsmart the Hood and save Lady Penelope and FAB 1 before it's too late.
The tension builds as the Thunderbirds face obstacle after obstacle, including sabotage of their aircraft and a high-speed pursuit through a treacherous mountain pass. With each new challenge, they must rely on their wits and quick thinking to stay one step ahead of the Hood and his minions.
