International Rescue is back in action in season 3 of Thunderbirds Are Go, and episode 3, titled Deep Search, takes the team on a thrilling underwater adventure. When a drilling platform located in the ocean floor suddenly collapses, the Thunderbirds are called in to rescue the workers who are trapped underwater.

The episode begins with a group of workers on the drilling platform, including engineer Kayo and mechanic Brains. They are conducting a survey of the ocean floor when a massive tremor causes the platform to collapse and plunge into the deep sea. Kayo and Brains are able to escape, but several others are trapped underwater and running out of oxygen.

Enter the Thunderbirds - the high-tech rescue vehicles that are always ready to assist in times of emergency. The team, led by the Tracy brothers, quickly mobilize and head to the site of the disaster. Among them is specialist vehicle Thunderbird 4, piloted by Gordon Tracy. Thunderbird 4 is a small submersible craft that is perfect for underwater rescues and searches.

Once they arrive at the site, the Thunderbirds deploy a number of gadgets and vehicles to start the search and rescue operation. Thunderbird 2 drops off a specialized submarine vessel for Gordon to use, and Thunderbird 3 monitors the operation from space. Meanwhile, Virgil Tracy pilots Thunderbird 1, which acts as a radio relay for the rest of the team.

As the Thunderbirds begin their deep search, they encounter a number of obstacles. The ocean floor is treacherous and unpredictable, and the team must navigate through underwater caves and avoid hostile sea creatures. Additionally, communication is difficult due to interference from the seismic activity in the area.

Despite these challenges, the Thunderbirds are determined to save the trapped workers. They use high-tech scanning equipment to search for them, and eventually locate them in an air pocket inside a cavern. But they are running out of time - the workers have precious little oxygen left, and the Thunderbirds must act quickly to save them.

Gordon takes Thunderbird 4 on a perilous journey through the twisting, narrow caves to reach the trapped workers. Along the way, he encounters a massive sea creature that threatens to derail the entire operation. But Gordon is a skilled pilot, and he is able to outmaneuver the creature and reach the workers just in time.

With the help of the Thunderbirds, the workers are rescued and brought safely back to the surface. The team celebrates their success, and Gordon reflects on the experience. He admits that he was scared at times during the mission, but he was able to stay focused and carry out the rescue thanks to his training and the support of his teammates.

Deep Search is a thrilling episode of Thunderbirds Are Go that highlights the skill and bravery of the International Rescue team. The underwater setting adds an extra layer of excitement to the already action-packed show, and the high-stakes rescue mission keeps viewers on the edge of their seats.
