Jack takes a job as a professor and brings his students back to his apartment after class to continue their studies. However, when one of the students, a beautiful young woman named Sandy, starts to show romantic interest in Jack, he begins to question whether he should be dating his students. Meanwhile, Chrissy and Janet decide to play a prank on Jack by pretending to be his new students and attending his class.
As Sandy's advances become more aggressive, Jack tries to let her down gently without hurting her feelings. However, when she doesn't take no for an answer and begins to make public scenes, Jack realizes he needs to be more direct with her. Meanwhile, Chrissy and Janet's joke backfires when they don't realize they are actually learning something valuable from Jack's lecture.
In an attempt to avoid Sandy's advances, Jack becomes preoccupied with his work and neglects his relationship with his roommates. Chrissy and Janet become resentful of his behavior and decide to teach him a lesson by staging a fake fight and pretending to kick him out of the apartment. However, their prank goes too far when Jack actually leaves and doesn't come back.
The episode culminates in a heart-to-heart talk between Jack and his roommates, where they all acknowledge their faults and commit to being better friends to each other. In the end, Jack reconciles with Sandy and decides to focus on being a good professor and mentor to his students, rather than pursuing relationships with them.
