She convinces Jack to help her track down John, hoping to reunite him with the diary. However, when they finally find him, they discover that John is actually a woman. The two women talk about their love for the dog and reminisce about good times spent together.
Back at the party, Jack's ex-girlfriend makes a move on him, and he is torn between his feelings for her and his loyalty to Chrissy. Ultimately, he decides to stay with Chrissy, and the two of them dance together as their friends look on.
"The Love Diary" is a lighthearted and fun episode of Three's Company that focuses on the ups and downs of love and relationships.
