Ep 11. The Kleptomaniac

Jack, Chrissy, and Janet are back in the third season of Three's Company! In episode 11, entitled "The Kleptomaniac," the trio finds themselves dealing with a sticky situation when Janet discovers a guest at one of her parties has been stealing things from their apartment.

The guest in question is a seemingly sweet and innocent woman named Bunny, who is invited to Janet's party on the condition that she bring along a dish to share. Despite Chrissy's objections, Jack and Janet decide to follow Bunny around the apartment to see if she's stealing anything else. Things get chaotic when they accidentally knock over a vase, alerting Bunny to their presence. However, to their surprise, Bunny doesn't seem to mind – in fact, she's quite understanding.

As it turns out, Bunny is a kleptomaniac – someone who compulsively steals things even though they don't need them. She explains that she's been struggling with the condition for years, and she's been trying to get help. Bunny's openness about her condition touches Jack and Janet, who decide to help her get the treatment she needs.

Meanwhile, Chrissy has her own problems to deal with. Unbeknownst to her roommates, she's been secretly dating a restaurant owner named Marco. When Marco shows up to the party unexpectedly, Chrissy panics and tries to hide him from Jack and Janet. Hilarity ensues as Chrissy tries to keep Marco undercover while dealing with Bunny's kleptomania.

In the end, everything comes to a head when Bunny is caught trying to steal something from Jack's room. With no other options, Jack and Janet reluctantly call the police. Bunny is arrested, but before she leaves, she thanks them for their understanding and support. Chrissy is upset that they had to call the police, but Jack and Janet assure her that it was the right thing to do.

"The Kleptomaniac" is a classic episode of Three's Company that showcases the show's trademark blend of physical comedy and heartwarming moments. It also tackles a serious issue in a lighthearted way, with the characters learning to be more understanding and empathetic towards someone who struggles with a condition that's out of their control.
