The Three Stooges Shorts is a classic American television show that is known for its wacky and slapstick humor. Season 1 episode 1, titled "Brideless Groom," follows the comedic trio as they try to help their friend Shemp find a bride in order to inherit a large sum of money left to him by his late uncle.

The episode begins with Shemp receiving the news that he will only inherit his uncle's fortune if he is married. However, he only has a few hours left before the deadline, and he has yet to find a bride. The Stooges come to his aid and help him search for a bride. They come across a list of potential candidates and start to make their way through the list.

Their first candidate is a spirited young woman named Miss Dinkelmeyer. However, things don't go quite as planned, and Miss Dinkelmeyer ends up attacking all three Stooges with a mop. They move on to the next candidate, a woman named Miss Hopkins. She initially seems like a perfect match, but when the Stooges tell her that Shemp is bald, she changes her mind and decides she doesn't want to marry him.

As the clock ticks down, the Stooges become increasingly desperate. They try to convince a group of women at a department store to marry Shemp, but they all turn him down. They even try to disguise Shemp as a woman, but when that doesn't work, they decide to resort to more extreme measures.

In the end, they come up with a plan to hypnotize Shemp into thinking that he is married to a beautiful woman named Mary. Of course, things don't go as planned, and chaos ensues. Shemp ends up making a fool of himself in front of his potential bride, and the Stooges are left to clean up the mess.

Despite their best efforts, Shemp fails to find a bride before the deadline, and he is left without the fortune. The episode ends with the Stooges consoling Shemp and reminding him that he still has them as his friends.

Overall, "Brideless Groom" is a classic Three Stooges episode that showcases the trio's unique brand of humor. The episode is filled with slapstick comedy, ridiculous gags, and over-the-top performances from the Stooges. While the episode is certainly not a masterpiece of television, it is an enjoyable and lighthearted comedy that is sure to provide plenty of laughs.
