In season 7 episode 2 of the Three Stooges Collection, titled "Cuckoo on a Choo Choo," the Stooges find themselves working as railroad car mechanics. They are tasked with repairing a train that has broken down, but their antics lead to chaos and mayhem.
The episode starts with the Stooges arriving at the train station for their new job. They meet the chief mechanic and get to work repairing the train. However, their incompetence and clumsiness quickly become apparent as they break windows, spill oil, and cause other mishaps.
As they try to fix the train, the Stooges encounter various obstacles, such as a leaky pipe and a pesky cuckoo bird that gets loose on the train. In their attempts to catch the bird, they end up causing even more damage.
Meanwhile, a group of passengers is waiting impatiently to board the train. They include a man with a large, valuable diamond that he is guarding closely, a pretty young woman who catches the eye of Larry and Moe, and a gruff, no-nonsense businessman who is in a hurry to get to his destination.
As the Stooges continue to bungle their repairs, the passengers become increasingly frustrated. The businessman threatens to fire them all if they don't get the train fixed quickly, while the diamond owner fears for the safety of his precious gem.
In a last-ditch effort to fix the train, the Stooges come up with a wild and crazy plan. They attach a makeshift propeller to the train and attempt to fly it to its destination instead of using the tracks. Of course, this plan goes predictably awry, and the passengers are left dangling precariously from the flying train.
In the end, however, the Stooges manage to save the day and get the train back on track (quite literally). The diamond owner is relieved to have his gem back in his possession, the young woman agrees to a date with Larry, and the grumpy businessman even offers the Stooges a bonus for their hard work.
Overall, "Cuckoo on a Choo Choo" is a classic Three Stooges episode full of slapstick humor, fast-paced action, and zany antics. Fans of the trio will enjoy watching them bumble their way through yet another challenging situation and come out victorious in the end.
