Fuelin' Around is the second episode in the sixth season of the iconic comedy series Three Stooges Collection. In this installment, the famous trio - Moe, Larry, and Curly - are employed at a gas station. They run into a customer with a fancy car, who happens to be a wealthy businessman. This is where the fun begins.
The Stooges are tasked with filling up the car with gas, but things quickly go awry. The car's gas tank is located in a tricky spot, which proves to be a challenge for the three hapless workers. They struggle to fill up the tank without getting any gas on the car's expensive paint job.
As they try to juggle filling the tank and avoiding any damage to the car, the Stooges become increasingly frustrated with the task at hand. The situation only gets worse when the wealthy businessman chides them for their clumsiness, insisting that they should hurry up and get the gas in the car.
The Stooges, being the Stooges, take matters into their own hands and the resulting shenanigans are as hilarious as they are unpredictable. Their antics involve using unconventional methods to fill up the gas tank, including using a series of household appliances to siphon the fuel into the car. What follows is a series of accidents and disasters, as the Stooges try (and often fail) to complete the task.
Despite their numerous fails, the Stooges do their best to keep the businessman happy, constantly trying to win his approval. Meanwhile, the businessman's wife and daughter add to the chaos with their own set of hijinks and comedic moments.
Fuelin' Around is a classic Three Stooges episode that showcases the trio's signature slapstick style of comedy. It is filled with clever gags and clever wordplay, expertly executed by the Stooges themselves. Fans of the show will not be disappointed by this classic episode, which demonstrates why the Three Stooges remain a beloved part of American pop culture to this day.
