In The Yoke's On Me episode of Three Stooges Collection season 4, the trio finds themselves in a tough spot when they accidentally damage a farmer's property. To make amends, they offer to work on the farmer's property and lend a hand with his farming chores. However, things quickly escalate when the Stooges accidentally yoke themselves to a stubborn mule who refuses to cooperate.
The bulk of the episode follows the Stooges as they try to wrangle the mule and get him to work with them. Their attempts are met with hilarity as the mule stubbornly refuses to budge and the Stooges resort to increasingly ridiculous measures to try and move him. Meanwhile, the farmer grows increasingly frustrated with their antics and begins to lose his patience with the trio.
The episode is full of classic Three Stooges humor as the Stooges' attempts at farming quickly devolve into chaos. Fans of the show will delight in the physical comedy and slapstick humor that made the Stooges famous. In addition to the mule, there are several other farm animals who get caught up in the trio's antics and provide plenty of opportunities for laughs.
One of the highlights of the episode is the Stooges' attempts to milk a cow. As anyone who has ever milked a cow knows, it's not as easy as it looks. The Stooges quickly find this out as they struggle to figure out how to get milk from the cow. The resulting scene is hilarious, with the Stooges getting covered in milk and the cow becoming increasingly agitated.
As the episode progresses, the Stooges find themselves in even more trouble when they accidentally set fire to the farmer's barn. Their attempts to put out the fire are, of course, met with disastrous results. This scene is another highlight of the episode and showcases the Stooges' ability to take a simple premise and turn it into a chaotic and hilarious scene.
Despite all of the chaos they cause, the Stooges are ultimately able to make amends with the farmer and help him out on his farm. The final scene of the episode sees the Stooges finally able to yoke the mule and successfully plow the field. As always, their victory is short-lived as the mule quickly throws them off and sends them flying into a nearby pond.
Overall, The Yoke's On Me is a classic Three Stooges episode that will delight fans of the show. With plenty of physical comedy, slapstick humor, and animal hijinks, it's a perfect example of what made the Stooges so beloved.
