Thomas & Friends Classic season 4 episode 3, titled "Four Little Engines / A Bad Day for Sir Handel," follows the adventures of Thomas and his friends on the island of Sodor. In the first half of the episode, "Four Little Engines," Sir Topham Hatt tasks Percy, Toby, and Duck with helping James move some heavy trucks. In the second half of the episode, "A Bad Day for Sir Handel," Sir Handel's bad attitude puts him in a lot of trouble. He refuses to do the jobs assigned to him and even scares some of the other engines. However, he soon finds himself in a dangerous situation and has to rely on the help of his friends to get out of it.
Through this experience, Sir Handel learns an important lesson about the importance of being a team player and being willing to help out no matter how big or small the task. Overall, "Four Little Engines / A Bad Day for Sir Handel" highlights the importance of friendship, cooperation, and hard work, and is an entertaining and educational episode for children and adults alike.
