Ep 10. One Good Turn / Tender Engines

Thomas & Friends Classic season 3 episode 10 features two different stories in the episode named One Good Turn / Tender Engines.

He also reminds the engines to always be careful and cautious when performing their duties.

In the second story, titled Tender Engines, Gordon is feeling very proud and boastful after he receives a new set of shiny tenders. He brags about how fast and efficient he is to the other engines, but this only makes them annoyed and upset with him. The engines decide to play a trick on Gordon and make him think that he has caught fire, causing him to panic and slow down. They later reveal the truth and Gordon learns a valuable lesson about the importance of humility and not boasting.
