Ep 12. Edward's Exploit / Percy's Ghostly Trick

Edward's Exploit / Percy's Ghostly Trick is the twelfth episode of season 2 of Thomas & Friends Classic. In the first half of the episode, Edward's Exploit, Edward the blue engine is feeling down because he thinks he's too old and not useful anymore. However, his driver reassures him that he's still a very useful engine, and Edward sets out to prove it.

Edward's first task is to take a goods train to the top of a steep hill. The other engines tell him that he won't be able to do it, but Edward is determined to prove them wrong. He makes his way slowly up the hill, puffing and panting all the way, but he doesn't give up. When he finally makes it to the top, all the other engines are impressed with his perseverance and hard work.

Later on, while Edward is taking a passenger train, he comes across a broken signal. He knows that there could be danger ahead if the signal is not fixed, so he takes it upon himself to find the signalman and warn him of the danger. Edward's quick thinking and bravery save the day, and he is once again hailed as a useful and important engine.

In the second half of the episode, Percy's Ghostly Trick, Percy the small green engine loves to have fun and play tricks on the other engines. One night, he decides to play a trick on Thomas by making him believe that he's seeing a ghost in the tunnel. Thomas is frightened and races away, convinced that he's seen a real ghost.

The next day, Percy tells all the other engines about the trick he played on Thomas, and they all have a good laugh at his expense. But that same night, Percy himself gets a fright when he sees a real ghost in the same tunnel. He races away, terrified, and the other engines don't believe him when he tells them what he saw.

However, the following night, Thomas and Percy both see the ghost together. They realize that it's not a real ghost, but a conductor who was dressed up in a white sheet as part of a practical joke. They all have a good laugh, and Percy learns that it's not always funny to play tricks on others.

Overall, Edward's Exploit / Percy's Ghostly Trick is a fun and entertaining episode of Thomas & Friends Classic that teaches important lessons about perseverance, bravery, and not playing tricks on others.
