Ep 11. The Diseasel / Wrong Road

Thomas & Friends Classic season 2 episode 11 features two separate stories, The Diseasel and Wrong Road.

In The Diseasel, the engines on the Island of Sodor are surprised to hear that a new engine named 'Diesel' has arrived. Percy and Duck are excited to meet him until they hear rumors from the other engines that Diesel is mean and nasty.

One day, Percy is sent to collect some trucks from the harbor, and he meets Diesel. Diesel tells Percy that the other engines are jealous of him and that they are always making fun of him because he is different. Percy believes Diesel and becomes friends with him.

But soon, Diesel's true nature is revealed when he convinces Percy to take his trucks on a different track, which leads to a dead end. Diesel then leaves Percy there, and Percy realizes that he has been betrayed.

Duck helps Percy to escape his predicament and takes him back to the station where the other engines are waiting. Percy tells them about Diesel's deceitful plan, and they all agree not to trust him again.

In the second story, Wrong Road, Edward and Gordon are tasked with pulling a long train of coal cars. They argue about which track to take, and Gordon insists that they take the new branch line. But when they reach a junction, Gordon realizes that he has taken the wrong track and is now heading toward a dangerous cliff.

Edward tries to slow down the train, but they are going too fast to stop safely. As they approach the edge of the cliff, Edward bravely uses his brakes to stop the train in time, saving both himself and Gordon from a terrible accident.

The episode ends with the engines reflecting on the importance of always following the rules and being cautious when making decisions on the tracks.
