Ep 1. Scumbag

This Is Not Happening is a stand-up comedy show that features comedians from all around the world telling true stories from their lives. In the third story, comedian Shane Torres tells a cautionary tale about a guy named Tony who he used to hang out with in high school. Tony was a classic bad influence and Shane got caught up in his schemes, including a particularly ill-advised shoplifting spree. It all comes to a head when Shane and Tony get caught by store security and have to face the consequences.

Comedian Fortune Feimster takes the stage next to tell a story about a trip she took to New Orleans with her friends. While out drinking at a bar, Fortune and her friends meet a group of guys who seem charming at first, but turn out to be anything but. One of the guys in particular, who calls himself "the beast," is especially creepy and Fortune has to use all of her wit and charm to extricate herself from the situation.

The final story of the episode comes from comedian Joey Diaz, who tells a wild tale about his time working as a bail bondsman in Denver. One of his clients, a guy named Double D, is the scumbag in question. Double D is a drug dealer, pimp, and all-around shady character, and Joey has to deal with his antics on a regular basis. The story involves a car chase, a drug bust, and a cameo from a famous rapper.

Overall, the "Scumbag" episode is a hilarious and cringe-inducing look at the darker side of human nature. The comedians' stories are all unique and engaging, but they all share a common theme of dealing with people who are truly terrible. Whether it's a high school bully, an abusive landlord, or a drug dealing pimp, the scumbags in this episode make for some seriously entertaining storytelling.
