Victor is surprised to see J.T. there and the two have an intense conversation about J.T.'s recent behavior. Victor warns J.T. to stay away from Victoria.
Meanwhile, Victoria is in Las Vegas, where she has been attending a business conference. She receives a call from her brother, Nick (Joshua Morrow), who is concerned about J.T.'s presence at the ranch. Victoria assures Nick that she has everything under control, but she is clearly worried. Later, she is alone in her hotel room when someone knocks on her door. When she answers, she is shocked to see J.T. standing there.
Back in Genoa City, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) are at odds over Nick. Phyllis is still upset over the fact that Nick slept with Sharon while they were still together. The final scene of the episode features Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Jack (Peter Bergman) having a heart-to-heart conversation. Jack is still upset about Ashley's decision to sell her shares of Jabot to Jack's arch-nemesis, Victor Newman. Ashley insists that she did it to protect the company, but Jack is not convinced. He accuses her of being too focused on money and power and warns her that she is becoming just like their father, John Abbott.
