Surgery is required to remove the bone, and the dog's owner anxiously waits for news.
Elsewhere, Julian is asked to help deliver a litter of piglets on a local farm. The mother pig is struggling with the birthing process, and Julian must act quickly to ensure the health and safety of both the mother and her offspring. With Julian's expertise and the help of some farmhands, the piglets are born without any complications.
Later in the episode, Peter and Julian work together on a challenging case involving a cow with a suspected kidney infection. After administering tests and treatment, the vets are relieved to discover that the cow's condition has improved significantly.
Finally, Peter returns to the farm where he purchased the new bull earlier in the episode. The bull has arrived and appears to be settling in well, but Peter notices a concerning lump on its throat. After further examination, Peter determines that the lump is a cyst and sets a plan for treatment.
