Ep 2. Nothing Important Happened Today II

Mulder and Skinner are back together after the former calls him to a meeting following the events of the season premiere. Scully, after quitting the FBI, finds herself jumping into a new line of work during which she encounters a familiar face. This time around, when a man bursts into flames in front of her, Scully brings it to the attention of the police force—and they actually begin to listen. Meanwhile, Mulder and Doggett make a discovery that could lead them to uncover more information about the government's involvement in the "super soldiers" project. While exploring this new lead, they realise that the project may have ties to the strange events surrounding Scully, and immediately rush to her aid. With their paths intertwining once again, Mulder, Scully, and Doggett delve deeper into the complicated web of secrets surrounding the "super soldiers," only to find themselves uncovering much more than they ever anticipated.
