Ep 12. One Son (2)

Following the events of the previous episode, One Son (1), the second part of this X-Files season 6 installment continues to unravel the intricate plot surrounding the Consortium's attempt to strike a deal with the alien colonists.

As Mulder and Scully continue to dig deeper into the government's abductions of Americans for experimentation, they uncover vital information that connects all the threads and leads them closer to unraveling the conspiracy. She enlists the help of the unlikely ally Jeffrey Spender, the son of Cigarette Smoking Man, who is hesitant but ultimately agrees to help.

As Scully and Jeffrey track down the Syndicate, deep roots of family history are revealed through intense and unexpected revelations. Scully discovers the genetics conspiracy surrounding Jeffrey and her own child. Jeffrey comes to terms with the fact that his father is at the center of the conspiracy, which brings him to choose between loyalty or truth.

One Son (2) offers a mix of suspense, revelations, and thriller as Mulder and Scully try every possible way to prevent the Syndicate and the alien race from carrying out their ultimate goal. Compromises and difficult choices must be made, as well as hard sacrifices and tough truths to unravel the complex and dark plan that has been in the works for decades.
