Ep 2. Founder's Mutation

Mulder and Scully are back in action, investigating a bizarre case of a scientist who apparently committed suicide in a high-security research facility. Upon arrival at the facility, they discover that the scientist's experiment, involving human genetic modification, may have gone awry. The agents proceed to uncover a deeper conspiracy involving the facility, its owners, and a recent spate of children born with extraordinary abilities. As Mulder delves deeper into the case, he is forced to confront his own personal demons and the traumas of his past. Meanwhile, Scully navigates the complex web of science and bureaucracy to gain access to the truth.
