Ellen is a successful saleswoman who has been working for a big company for over a year. She is engaged to a handsome lawyer, and she seems to have everything she ever wanted. However, her life takes a dramatic turn when she is wrongfully accused of embezzlement by her boss, Roger, who is played by Jaleel White.

Roger is a sleazy and ruthless business executive who is determined to cover up his own fraudulent activities by framing Ellen, who he believes is an easy target. He fabricates evidence against Ellen, and persuades the police to arrest her, leaving her with no one to turn to.
