Mildred Hubble is back in the Great Wizard's Visit episode of the Worst Witch season 1. The Great Wizard is coming to Cackle's Academy to present an award to the teacher who is the most successful in the art of witchcraft. All the teachers at Cackle's Academy are excited about the prospect of winning the award, and they have spared no expense to make sure that the Great Wizard is given the royal treatment.
Ms Hardbroom turns to Mildred for help in organizing everything, but Mildred is nervous and anxious about meeting the Great Wizard. Despite her reservations, she agrees to help, and she throws herself into the task with determination. Meanwhile, Ethel Hallow is working hard to win the prize, and she enlists Drusilla Paddock to help her show off her skills.
As the day of the Great Wizard's visit draws near, Mildred becomes increasingly nervous. She is worried that something might go wrong, and everyone will be disappointed. However, with the help of her friends and some quick thinking, she manages to save the day and impress the Great Wizard with her skills.
Throughout the episode, viewers get to see the characters' relationships develop a little more. Millie and Miss Hardbroom continue to grow closer, and Miss Cackle continues to have a soft spot for Mildred. We also see Ethel and Drusilla's friendship tested as they scheme against Mildred and her friends.
As with every episode of the Worst Witch, there are plenty of magical mishaps along the way. In this episode, some of the teachers' spells go wrong, and disaster almost strikes when the Golden Broomstick goes missing. But, through it all, Mildred remains determined to help make the Great Wizard's visit a success.
Overall, The Great Wizard's Visit is a fun and magical episode that will leave viewers feeling enchanted. The show does an excellent job of balancing humour and heart, and the characters are all well-developed and endearing. Along with its great storytelling and beautiful visuals, The Worst Witch is a show that has something for everyone.
