Meanwhile, Queen Calanthe and Ciri are dealing with their own struggles. Calanthe has to deal with the rebels who are determined to overthrow her while Ciri is faced with the reality of her own destiny. Calanthe is determined to protect her kingdom and she will stop at nothing to achieve this.
