Eliza Thornberry, a young girl who can talk to animals, is excited to be spending Easter with her family in England. However, her plans to watch the Easter Bunny parade are interrupted when she discovers that a missing rabbit named Osbert is in danger from a hunting dog.
Determined to save Osbert, Eliza sets out on a mission to keep him safe until the Easter Bunny can find him. She enlists the help of her wild animal friends, including a group of geese who agree to distract the hunting dog.
As Eliza tries to keep Osbert hidden, she realizes that he may have a special ability that could help him avoid danger. With the help of her brother Darwin, Eliza discovers that Osbert has the ability to change his fur color to match his surroundings.
As Easter morning approaches, Eliza is determined to make sure that Osbert is safe and reunited with the Easter Bunny. But when the hunting dog returns, Eliza must use all of her wits and animal communication skills to protect Osbert and outsmart the dog.
In the end, Eliza's love for animals and determination to do what's right saves the day and ensures a happy Easter for all.
