Ep 6. Chimp Off The Old Block

Eliza Thornberry is a young girl with a unique ability to communicate with animals. She and her family travel all around the world to film documentaries about wildlife. In season 1 episode 6, titled "Chimp Off The Old Block," the Thornberrys journey to Tanzania to film a documentary about chimpanzees.

At first, Steve seems disinterested in learning, but Eliza persists. She uses her gift of animal communication to connect with Steve and gain his trust. Through patience and persistence, Eliza is able to successfully train Steve, much to the delight of his family.

But trouble arises when a group of poachers arrives in the area. The poachers are determined to capture and sell the chimpanzees for profit. Eliza and her family must work quickly to protect the chimps and prevent them from falling into the hands of the poachers.

In the end, Eliza and her family are successful in scaring off the poachers and keeping the chimpanzees safe. Steve and his family are grateful to the Thornberrys for their help and bid them farewell as they continue their journey.

"Chimp Off The Old Block" is a heartwarming episode that showcases Eliza's compassion for animals and her willingness to go above and beyond to protect them.
