Ep 1. Mercy

In the season 8 premiere of The Walking Dead, entitled "Mercy," Rick and his coalition of survivors come together to formulate a plan of attack against Negan and the Saviors. With Alexandria, the Hilltop, and the Kingdom joining forces, the group prepares for war as they seek to take down their oppressors once and for all.

As the group strategizes, tensions rise between Rick and Maggie as they debate what to do with their newfound power. The stakes are high, and mistakes could mean the difference between victory and defeat.

Meanwhile, Carl makes a new friend in the Sanctuary, the headquarters of the Saviors. Despite the inherent danger, Carl's kindness and curiosity lead him to form an unexpected bond. But as the two wander the abandoned halls of the building, they soon discover that danger lurks around every corner.

Back on the battlefield, tensions between the survivors and the Saviors come to a fever pitch as the two sides face off in an explosive confrontation. With gunfire ringing out and explosions tearing through the air, it's unclear who will emerge victorious in this bloody battle.

But as the dust settles, it becomes clear that the war is far from over. With Negan and his followers still at large, Rick and his allies must prepare for what's to come - knowing that every move they make could be their last.
