In The Walking Dead season 5 episode 13, titled "Forget," the group has settled into their new home at Alexandria and are attempting to adjust to their new surroundings. The episode begins with Rick and Michonne discussing their apprehensions about the community and whether or not they can trust the people of Alexandria.
As the group tries to integrate into the community, they each struggle with their own personal demons. Sasha, who is still grieving the loss of Bob and Tyreese, is struggling to adapt to the peaceful lifestyle of Alexandria. She spends much of her time patrolling the perimeter of the community, searching for any potential threats.
Meanwhile, Carl is attempting to fit in with the other teenagers of Alexandria, but is having a hard time relating to their sheltered lives. He also finds himself the target of Ron's jealousy.
Carol, who has been putting on a façade of weakness in order to blend in with the other residents of Alexandria, begins to struggle with maintaining her façade as she starts to feel a sense of responsibility for the community.
As the episode progresses, we see the residents of Alexandria trying to assimilate the group into their community. They throw a welcome party for the group, which includes awkward conversations and performances by the town's residents.
Despite their initial reservations, some members of the group begin to let their guard down and consider the possibility of starting over in Alexandria.
However, just as they begin to relax and consider this a new beginning, a potential threat emerges and the group is forced to once again rely on their survival instincts.
Overall, "Forget" presents a bit of a juxtaposition between the peaceful, seemingly idyllic life of Alexandria and the harsh realities of the zombie apocalypse. It also highlights the group's internal conflicts as they struggle to adapt to their new home while maintaining a sense of caution and distrust.
