Hitomi is still trying to get used to Gaea and everything that comes with it, including the constant battles between countries. She's also trying to come to terms with her feelings for Van, the prince of Fanelia, who saved her from the dragon in the first episode. Meanwhile, Van is dealing with his own issues, including trying to figure out how to save his country from the Zaibach empire, who seem to have an endless supply of advanced weapons.

In this episode, the group decides to head to the country of Freid, where they hope to get help in fighting against Zaibach. However, when they arrive, they find that Freid is a country completely obsessed with beauty. Everything and everyone in Freid is beautiful, and the people there are constantly striving to become even more beautiful.

They soon meet the ruler of Freid, a man named Adonis, who seems to be the pinnacle of beauty. However, it soon becomes clear that there's something sinister going on in Freid. People who aren't considered beautiful enough are banished from the country, and a group of men known as the Diabolos are the ones who make that decision.

Adonis takes an immediate liking to Hitomi, and constantly praises her beauty. Hitomi is uncomfortable with this attention, but tries to put on a brave face for the sake of the group. Meanwhile, the others begin to investigate what's really going on in Freid. They discover that Adonis is not what he seems, and that the obsession with beauty is just a cover-up for something much more dangerous.

As the group tries to uncover the truth about Adonis and the Diabolos, they also have to deal with the fact that he's taken a liking to Hitomi. She finds herself constantly in his company, and has to try to navigate his advances without causing any trouble.

The battle scenes in this episode are particularly intense, as the group tries to fight not only the Diabolos, but also Adonis himself. The animation is beautiful and fluid, with lots of sweeping camera movements and intense close-ups.

Overall, this episode is a great mix of action, drama, and romance. It's interesting to see the group in a different country, and the focus on the obsession with beauty adds an interesting layer to the story. The ending is particularly satisfying, with some great character development for Hitomi in particular.
