Ep 8. Fade Into You

When the Salvatore brothers discover that their long-lost sister is still alive, they are determined to bring her back into their lives. However, their reunion is interrupted by the unexpected arrival of their mother, who has returned to Mystic Falls with a dangerous agenda. Meanwhile, Bonnie and Damon are transported to a Thanksgiving dinner in 1994, where they encounter some of Bonnie's deceased family members. As they navigate the complexities of this unfamiliar world, they must also confront the truth about their own relationship. Elsewhere, Caroline and Stefan attempt to teach a class of new vampires how to control their urges, but their efforts are complicated by an unexpected visitor. With tensions running high and secrets being revealed, the residents of Mystic Falls must band together to protect themselves and the ones they love.
