Ep 3. Welcome to Paradise

As Elena and Caroline head off to college, they make a shocking discovery about the town of Whitmore. Meanwhile, in Mystic Falls, Damon finds himself kidnapped by Kai, one of the Gemini Coven's most dangerous members, and Enzo lures Matt and Tyler to an empty house where he intends to teach them a lesson they won't forget. Later, Bonnie returns to Mystic Falls from a trip back in 1994, but discovers that complications have arisen stemming from what she did there. Meanwhile, Jeremy and Stefan realize that they both have a new understanding of the lengths to which Damon will go to protect Elena.
