The Unit season 2 episode 4, titled "Manhunt," follows the team as they embark on a mission to capture a high-value target. The episode begins as the team receives intel that the target, an infamous terrorist responsible for numerous attacks, is hiding in a remote village in Pakistan.
The team, led by Jonas Blane, consisting of Bob Brown, Mack Gerhardt, Charles Grey, Hector Williams, and newcomer Bridget Sullivan, is informed that their mission is to capture the target alive and bring him back to the United States for interrogation. The team is briefed on the target's location and various details about the village. They are given a small window of opportunity to capture the target before he moves on to his next location.
The team lands in Pakistan and begins to assess the situation. They quickly realize that the target has a large group of armed guards surrounding him, making it nearly impossible to capture him without being detected. The team decides to split up into smaller groups to gather intelligence and plan their attack. Bridget is tasked with infiltrating the village to gather information on the target's movements and the surrounding area.
As Bridget navigates through the village, she discovers that the target is planning to leave the next day and travel to a nearby city. She also finds an underground tunnel system that connects various parts of the village, which could prove to be useful for the team's escape if caught.
The rest of the team plans their attack, which involves a diversionary tactic to draw the target's guards away from their position while they move in to capture him. The plan seems to be going well until they are unexpectedly ambushed by a group of armed men. The team fights back, but Bob is injured in the process.
As the team regroups, they realize that they are now the ones being hunted and must find a way to escape the village and capture the target before he leaves. Bridget proposes the idea of using the underground tunnels to escape, and the team agrees it's the best option.
The team makes their way through the tunnels, but they are quickly running out of time. They emerge from the tunnels and find themselves facing the target's heavily armed convoy. The team springs into action, using their training to take out the guards and capture the target.
With the target in custody, the team prepares to return to the United States. However, they are surprised to learn that they have been followed by an unknown group of armed men. The team must once again use their skills to protect themselves and the prisoner from the attackers.
In the end, the team successfully captures the target and makes it back to their base safely. However, Bob is left with a serious injury, reminding them all of the risks they take every day as members of The Unit.
