Ep 2. Forest Grump

In The Troop season 1 episode 2, titled "Forest Grump," the troop is on a mission to investigate some strange activities in the woods. They soon discover that a lifelong nature enthusiast, who goes by the name of Forest Grump, is tampering with the ecosystem in an attempt to protect it from human interference.

When the troop initially enters the forest, they start witnessing strange occurrences. Hayley spots a deer with a third eye in the center of its head, while Jake and Felix encounter trees that are bleeding and plants with sharp teeth. While investigating these findings, they stumble upon Forest Grump's abandoned cabin and start piecing together the puzzle.

It is revealed that Forest Grump was once a typical nature lover who would take the tourists on hikes and teach them about the flora and fauna of the woods. However, when a construction company arrived with plans of developing the forest, Grump took it upon himself to stop them. He did so by using the mysterious and magical elements of the forest to scare the construction workers away.

The troop soon realizes that Forest Grump is not the benevolent guardian of the woods he portrays himself to be. He is actually causing irreversible damage to the forest with his interference. The Troop decides to confront Forest Grump and convinces him that his meddling is doing more harm than good.

The episode is full of suspense and adventure, as the troop navigates the strange and dangerous environment of the forest to uncover Forest Grump's intentions. Viewers will enjoy the intriguing plot, creative visuals and the effective use of CGI to bring the forest to life.
