Ep 7. The Paper Airplane Chase

Tom & Jerry Show season 5 episode 7, titled "The Paper Airplane Chase", follows the never-ending rivalry between Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse. In this particular episode, Jerry's paper airplane becomes the center of attention, with both him and Tom vying for it.
The episode begins with Jerry working on a paper airplane in his house. Tom, who is outside, spots Jerry and rushes towards him, intent on catching him. However, as he approaches, Jerry throws the paper airplane, causing Tom to miss and crash into a tree. Jerry, delighted with his successful escape, flies the paper airplane towards the park.
Meanwhile, Tom is still recovering from the crash and notices Jerry's escape. He immediately sets his sights on the paper airplane and takes off after Jerry. The chase begins, and both Tom and Jerry have various obstacles to overcome as they race towards the airplane.
As they near the park, Tom spots the paper airplane, and in his eagerness to catch it, dives headfirst into a pile of leaves. Jerry, who is watching from a nearby tree, chuckles at Tom's blunder.
However, Tom doesn't give up, and he resurfaces from the leaf pile, more determined than ever to catch the airplane. He chases Jerry around the park, over benches and through bushes, causing a commotion everywhere they go.
As they race across a pond, the paper airplane gets wet and starts to lose altitude. Jerry tries to land it safely, but Tom is close behind, ready to pounce. In a last-ditch effort, Jerry throws the airplane towards a group of people having a picnic, hoping to lose Tom in the confusion.
Tom, on the other hand, realizes he can't catch the airplane and decides to sneak up on Jerry instead. He manages to catch Jerry off guard, but in his excitement, ends up falling into a giant cake, ruining the picnic and getting his just desserts.
The episode ends with Jerry winking at the camera and flying away in the paper airplane, victorious. Tom is left covered in cake and looking sheepish. It seems the never-ending rivalry between these two will never come to an end!
