The Sound of Your Heart is a South Korean television series produced by KBS TV2 in 2016. Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, the series chronicles the hilarious misadventures of the eccentric Jo Seok (played by Sung Hoon), a struggling cartoonist who constantly finds himself in absurd situations.

Jo Seok lives with his parents, who are equally quirky in their own ways. His father (played by Park Cheol-min) is a traditional Korean father who is tough and often stern with his son, while his mother (played by Shim Hye-jin) is a doting housewife who sometimes takes things too far. Jo Seok's older brother, Jo Joon (played by Tae Hang-ho), is the complete opposite of him – successful, steady and reliable, but often at odds with his younger sibling.

In addition to his family, Jo Seok also has a group of close friends who provide comic relief and support him no matter how ridiculous he is. His girlfriend, Ae-bong (played by Kwon Yuri), is the only one who can truly understand him and puts up with all of his antics.

The show is a comedy and is light-hearted and whimsical, with each episode consisting of several skits, which are loosely connected by a single storyline. The skits range in length from a few minutes to longer episodes, with each one highlighting Jo Seok's strange and unpredictable personality. The episodes cover a range of topics, from first love to office politics and family drama, and the show is layered with satire and social commentary.

One of the standout features of the series is its high-energy cast, with Sung Hoon delivering a particularly strong performance as the wacky Jo Seok. He has excellent chemistry with Kwon Yuri's character, Ae-bong, and their quirky romance is a highlight of the show. Tae Hang-ho also shines as Jo Joon, and the rest of the supporting cast provides great comedic support.

The show's cinematography is bright and colorful, making it a visually appealing watch. The sets are also eye-catching, with Jo Seok's cluttered, chaotic apartment contrasting with his brother's sleek and minimalist home. The music is upbeat and playful, adding to the overall light-hearted tone of the series.

Overall, The Sound of Your Heart is a fun and enjoyable watch, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. It is well-paced and manages to avoid becoming repetitive, thanks to the variety of skits and quirky characters. While it may not be for everyone and some may find the humor formulaic, fans of comedies and Korean dramas will find plenty to enjoy here.

The Sound of Your Heart is a series that ran for 1 seasons (20 episodes) between December 9, 2016 and on KBS TV2
