The Sopranos is an award-winning American television drama series that aired for six seasons from 1999 to 2007 on the premium cable network HBO. The show follows the life of a fictional New Jersey Italian-American mob boss Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini), as he struggles to balance his family life, criminal activities, and psychological problems.

Season 5 episode 3 of The Sopranos is titled "Where's Johnny?". The episode continues the ongoing story of Tony Soprano's ongoing feud with his old friend and ally Johnny Sack (Vincent Curatola), who is currently serving as the boss of New York's powerful Lupertazzi crime family.

The episode begins with Tony hosting a dinner party at his home, where he invites his business partners and associates to discuss the ongoing situation with Johnny Sack. However, the atmosphere quickly becomes tense when Tony reveals that he plans to make a move against Johnny by targeting his underboss Gerry Torciano (Tom Aldredge).

Despite the objections of some of his associates, Tony proceeds with his plan and orders his right-hand man Silvio Dante (Steven Van Zandt) to organize the hit on Gerry at a local diner. However, the plan goes awry when Gerry unexpectedly brings his wife along to the diner, forcing the hitmen to abort the mission.

Meanwhile, Tony's wife Carmela (Edie Falco) becomes increasingly concerned about their son A.J. (Robert Iler), who is struggling with depression and drug addiction. She seeks the help of a therapist, Dr. Melfi (Lorraine Bracco), who recommends that A.J. be admitted to a psychiatric facility for treatment.

As tensions rise between Tony and Johnny, Tony's cousin Tony Blundetto (Steve Buscemi) returns to town after serving a 17-year prison sentence for murder. Tony B, as he is known, is eager to get back into the family business and impress his boss, but he quickly learns that things have changed in his absence and that he must prove his loyalty once again.

Meanwhile, FBI agent Dwight Harris (Matt Servitto) continues his investigation into Tony's criminal activities, hoping to gain evidence that will bring Tony down. However, his efforts are hampered by his own department's bureaucratic incompetence and lack of resources.

As the episode draws to a close, tensions between Tony and Johnny reach a boiling point when Johnny's daughter is caught smoking marijuana at a party hosted by Tony's nephew Christopher (Michael Imperioli). The incident triggers a violent confrontation that sets the stage for further conflict between the two crime bosses.

Overall, "Where's Johnny?" is a gripping and intense episode of The Sopranos that continues to explore the complex relationships and power struggles that define the world of organized crime. With its strong writing, excellent performances, and dark themes, the episode exemplifies the show's ability to blend gritty realism with compelling drama, making it a must-watch for fans of the series.
