Ep 22. It's a Puppy's Life

As the Smurfs are enjoying a peaceful day in the village, they stumble upon a tiny puppy wandering around. The curious little pup seems lost and alone, so the Smurfs decide to take him in and care for him until they can find his rightful owner.

But when the puppy begins wreaking havoc all over the village--chewing on Gargamel's shoes, digging up Papa Smurf's garden, and knocking over Smurfette's potions--the Smurfs start to wonder if they've made a big mistake. They quickly realize that raising a puppy is far more difficult than they anticipated, especially when they're already responsible for taking care of one another.

With the help of their animal-loving friend, Peewit, the Smurfs try to teach the puppy some basic manners and obedience. They soon learn that training a puppy is no easy task and requires patience, consistency, and lots of love. As they begin to bond with their little furry friend, the Smurfs find themselves confronted with the bittersweet reality that they may have to say goodbye to him soon if his rightful owner is found.

Meanwhile, Gargamel is up to his usual scheming, and he's determined to capture the Smurfs by using the puppy as bait. He builds a sneaky trap disguised as a doghouse and hopes that the Smurfs will fall right into it. But when the puppy accidentally falls into the trap instead, the Smurfs must work together to rescue him before Gargamel gets his hands on him.

As the episode comes to a close, the Smurfs finally discover the puppy's true owner, a little girl who has been missing her beloved pet for days. The Smurfs must say goodbye to their furry friend, but they know that they helped him in his time of need and made a lasting impact on his life. They release him into the arms of his owner, who is overjoyed to be reunited with her best friend. The Smurfs watch as the little girl and her puppy run off into the distance, happy and content, knowing that they did something good today.
