Ep 24. The Ghostly Teletype

The Six Million Dollar Man is a classic science fiction television show about astronaut Steve Austin who was severely injured in a crash and rebuilt with bionic body parts that give him superhuman strength and abilities. Steve believes that they may have all been victims of some sort of ghostly encounter. Steve, along with Dr. Randolph, meets with one of the engineers who disappeared, and they discover that he was working on a project involving communication with the afterlife before he disappeared. Steve comes to believe that the victims of the ghostly encounters were all selected because they had a knowledge of the teletype machine and its ability to communicate with the other side.

As the investigation progresses, Steve uncovers a plan by a group of scientists at the military base to use the teletype machine to communicate with a deceased scientist. The group believes that by tapping into the afterlife, they can gain knowledge that will help them win the Cold War. However, it turns out that the "dead scientist" they're communicating with is actually a hostile alien who is using the teletype machine to communicate with Earth.

The situation escalates quickly and Steve, armed with his bionic abilities, fights to ensure that the alien doesn't take over the planet. In the final moments of the episode, Steve faces off against the alien in a tense showdown that ends with a surprising twist.
