When the boys of Springfield's neighboring town of Shelbyville steal the lemon tree from the town square, Bart and the other kids embark on a mission to retrieve it. As tensions rise between Springfield and Shelbyville, the adults become increasingly involved in the feud, with Marge and Homer leading opposing factions. Along the way, each character has their moment to shine, including a memorable scene where Lisa demonstrates her ability to speak Italian. Ultimately, the episode serves as a commentary on the futility of petty feuds and the importance of valuing community over material possessions. With sharp wit and excellent comedic timing, "Lemon of Troy" is a standout episode in an already beloved series.
