Ep 18. A Star is Burns

In The Simpsons season 6 episode 18, titled "A Star is Burns," Springfield creates a film festival to boost its profile and attract tourists to the town. Film critic Jay Sherman, from the animated show "The Critic," is brought in to judge the festival, which features short films made by the town's citizens.

As the festival progresses, Homer becomes increasingly competitive with film director and local celebrity, Rainer Wolfcastle. Wolfcastle's film is the favorite to win, but Homer believes his own amateur film, "Man Getting Hit by Football," is a contender and begins to campaign for it.

In the end, Sherman declares a surprise winner, a heartfelt film about a girl and her cat made by Lisa. Although the festival is viewed as a success, tensions linger between Homer and Marge, and Sherman returns to New York, disappointed with the quality of the films he has seen.
