When Bart is kicked out of the Junior Campers, he joins a gang of older boys known as the Bad Boys of Springfield. With the help of the gang, Bart sets out on a dangerous camping trip into the wilderness.
Meanwhile, Homer tags along on the trip with Ned Flanders and his sons, but quickly finds himself out of his element in the great outdoors. Despite their differences, Homer and Ned find themselves working together to survive the trip.
As for Bart and the Bad Boys, their camping trip takes a turn for the worse when they become lost in the woods and encounter a grizzly bear. It's up to Bart to use the skills he's learned in the Junior Campers to outsmart the bear and lead the gang back to civilization.
In the end, all of the characters learn valuable lessons about teamwork, survival and the importance of being prepared. With its mix of humor and heart, "Boy-Scoutz 'n the Hood" is a classic episode of The Simpsons that has delighted fans for decades.
